1. To evaluate the recommendations of persons proposed for provincial honorary membership and submit the names of qualified candidates for vote by the Provincial Executive Board. 2. To study and make recommendations related to membership. Initiation, Necrology and Membership cards shall be the responsibility of this committee. 3. To be responsible for expansion within the province. 4. To plan and implement leadership programs for the provincial and chapter officers and for committee chairpersons. |

Duties
1. The Provincial Treasurer shall receive dues and scholarship amounts from each chapter and transmit appropriate amounts to DKG International. 2. To collect funds raised from monthly meetings. 3. To submit a financial report and a budget annually to the Provincial Executive Board and provide for an annual audit of the provincial Treasurer's records. . |
Chapter Treasurer's Duties (appointed)

Duties
1. To serve on the Provincial Executive Board to ensure that dues are paid promptly. 2. To forward the proper amounts to the Provincial Treasurer to cover dues and scholarship fees. 3. To pay all Chapter bills promptly as they come due. 4. To maintain accurate records of the Chapter finances and present to the Executive Board an annual report and proposed budget for the Chapter. |

1. To promote programs and projects that address the goals of advancing excellence in education, promoting the personal well-being and intellectual growth of its members, and increasing the global awareness of women educators. 2. To follow the biennial themes adopted by DKG International where possible. 3. To be responsible for carrying out the International Projects: Schools for Africa, and Support for Early Educators (SEE), at the local level. |

Duties
1. To take action on recommendations from the International Scholarships Committee. 2. To promote an interest in and support of scholarships while recommending provincial scholarships for graduate studies. 3 With the authority of the Executive Board, it will be responsible for the general supervision and administration of the Scholarship and Awards Programs. 4. To be responsible for the establishment and administration of awards other than Scholarship Awards. The committee must recommend these awards to be adopted by the Provincial Executive Board. These awards shall include, but not be limited to, the World Fellowship Awards and the Professional Development Awards. 5. To promote the work of the International World Fellowships Program. 6. To administer provincial World Fellowship Awards. NOTE: You may wish to make a tax-reportable donation to one of our two on-going projects: 1. The Sarah Paltiel Scholarship Award Fund 2. Nominations

Duties
1. To solicit suggestions from members for each of the elected Officers' position and to ascertain that the nominated person will serve if elected. To present the nominations to chapters in even-numbered years, and to the Province in odd numbered years. 2. To conduct the elections including (a) destroying ballots on completion of the elections; and, (b) with no nominations from the floor at the AGM, declare elected by acclamation the proposed slate. |
Hospitality Committee

Duties
To solicit members to serve on monthly hospitality/food committees and to provide the membership with a schedule of service on those committees. Duties of Monthly Convenor To co-ordinate the chefs and organize the meal; see that the division of responsibility is equitable: to collect money & check on numbers attending. To decide with the Committee how to divide the responsibility for the $100 minimum ($20 per person). Duties of the Hospitality Committee To arrange for the oven to be turned on, set up tables and buffet, plug in coffee and hot water before meal, wash dishes and return items to cupboard, clean kitchen and wash counters. Purpose of the Monthly Meetings To provide a means of raising money for our scholarships; to provide a warm, pleasant, social opportunity; to provide network opportunities in a supportive atmosphere; to provide an evening of learning via interesting guest speakers. |
